Where it all started
I grew up in Constanța, Romania — a port city on the Black Sea coast where cultures have met for centuries. That environment taught me early on that understanding people from different backgrounds is not just a skill, it is a way of seeing the world.
By the time I was sixteen, I had already co-founded UNICEF Romania's first national Children's Board, where I helped draft the EU Children's Declaration from Bucharest — a document that gave young people a voice in European policy discussions. That same year, I was selected for the European Parliament's Euroscola Programme in Strasbourg, debating democratic values alongside young people from across the EU.
These were not just lines on a CV to me. They showed me that age does not determine the impact you can make — only initiative does.
Learning by doing
I have never been the kind of person who follows a single, straight path. My curiosity has led me through financial consulting at OVB Allfinanz, where I learned to listen carefully, analyse complex situations, and build trust with clients. It took me to Småland, Sweden, where I worked in both the dining room and the kitchen at A6 Golfklubb — one of the region's finest golf restaurants. And it brought me back to Constanța, where I managed the fast-paced rhythm of Cafeneaua Botanica.
Some people might look at that variety and see uncertainty. I see versatility. Each of these roles taught me something different: patience and precision in the kitchen, strategic thinking in finance, and grace under pressure in service. Together, they have made me someone who can walk into almost any professional environment and contribute from day one.
The bigger picture
In 2022, I moved to Malmö, Sweden to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Human Rights at Malmö University. It was a deliberate choice — I wanted an academic foundation that would match the values I had been living since my teenage years. Alongside my degree, I completed a university course in Journalism, because I believe that communicating ideas clearly is just as important as having them.
In Sweden, I continued to build bridges between communities. As PR Director of the League of Romanian Students in Sweden (LSRS), I led communication strategies and awareness campaigns that strengthened the connection between Romanian students and Swedish society.
What I bring
I speak three languages — Romanian natively, English at an advanced level (C1), and Swedish, which I am actively improving. I am comfortable with digital tools ranging from Microsoft Office and Figma to HTML and CSS. But beyond technical skills, what I bring is a mindset: I adapt quickly, I care about the people around me, and I never stop looking for ways to grow.
Whether the role is in communications, hospitality, human rights, or something entirely new — I bring the same energy, reliability, and genuine curiosity. I am not looking for the perfect title. I am looking for a team where I can contribute, learn, and make a real difference.
